ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope is here

The Long waited Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope) is coming out; People's favorite linux ubuntu is releasing  another version. Now everyone knows that ubuntu releases a new version every six months.

This version is important for me, because. This is where i say good bye to windows! Yes, Finally i am doing it. Bye bye Windows. Actually I have been trying to do this for long. I was using Ubuntu as my secondary OS and all. and 2 3 times i tried this switch. But honestly there was things that i cannot do with Ubuntu. Like My favorite games, I cannot imagine life with out Prince of Persia, Hitman and Need for speed and all. Also in my laptop (Sony VAIO VGN-CR12GH, its been around an year since i bought it, mm i haven't wrote anything about it here yet) many of the multimedia keys don't work very well with Ubuntu. And I was not a windows Pirate like many others. because The VAIO had an OEM version of vista in it.

But yea I have decided to do that sacrifice. And of course its not a complete good bye to the windows, I need Visual Studio .NET, Flash, etc. and there are no alternatives for it. I may even need an MS-SQL server. So yea i wil use Windows. But only as a secondary. 

I am planning to use a Community based Virtual machine like VirtualBox / VMWare Server in Ubuntu and to install the Windows in it.

I already can see many issues over there, the first thing I dnt think i can get my internet connection (BSNL EvDo) to be setup much easily in it. Also I dnt think I can find a good Download accelerator like IDM, FDM or Orbit. How can i live with out them? 

anyway, yes i am doing it this time. Not only i am doing it I am gona use the Ubuntu 64 bit itself. Because i want to be free.
